Stuck at "Enabling MCU data 21 21 1 1..."

If I connect the left joy-con by itself, the debug window shows this:

However, if I start with both joycons paired and right joycon connected to ringcon, debug window shows this:

my mistake was only fixed when I bought the original JoyCon
