Obsolete reference to Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client

The current version has a reference to the old, obsolete Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client package. Are there any plans to ditch that? It causes some other obsolete dependencies, including obsolete extension methods, to be added to a modern .NET Core 7 project.
