Filter UI doesnt change for include / exclude until leaving the Filter Box

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to 'explore'
  2. Click on Filter +
  3. Select a few items then swap to exclude,
  4. click apply then return.

Expected behavior The check and X should change immediately.
