Incorrect Apple ID or password issue with Apple email and app specific password

MacBook Pro and the latest-gen Ipad Pro are the devices I am using.

The email I have created specifically for altstore now has two-factor authentication. When I try to sign in with my actual username and password it returns

Installation failed This action cannot be completed at this time (-22411)

So I have created an app-specific password and I have tried again. But That did not work as well

Installation failed Incorrect Apple ID or password.

I have reinstalled the altstore on my MAC. and I have also made sure that the date and time on both devices are in sync. I could not find any more useful resources on how to fix this issue.

Please help me with this problem.

same here, I don't see the point to ask for username and password saying that "app-specific passwords will not longer work", when you can clearly know that is a security flawless and you should never use your real password.

@rileytestut I know you from long time ago on another projects, is there any reason for that? It feels like a honey pot for appleid accounts.

I too came here to report this, coincidentally within two hours of mitchwd! I just tried with AltServer 1.6.2 on Mojave and 1.7 on Ventura. In both cases I can't log in using an app-specific password.
