Apple: CTF will not be paid on free apps

Apple decided to chill out with the Core Technology Junk Fee and exempted free apps from paying the Apple tax.

This could make AltStore EU free as no CTF would have to be paid if the developer made the app free.

But as AltStore, at least in it's current form, offers paid apps (like Clip), I guess there is actually no intention of making "no profit", or am I overlooking something here?

If it just opens a page to a pateron, the app itself is collecting no money as it is not doing IAP through app

Or it could just be on a paid app, there would be a URL to pateron page that you can't visit in app.
