Current version: Windows 10 - 2h22 iOS - 16.3

after several hours of looking through documentation, reddit threads, microsoft and apple support, I managed to install altstore.

1. install Media Features in from Win+R -> optionalfeatures.exe
2. Install windows media player from Win10 settings
3. Download iCloud for Windows from AltStore FAQ
4. iCloud should now install on your computer without the media feature errors missing.
5. Install AltStore on iPhone from AltServer on windows
6. Trust developer (if error on selecting altstore)
   • Navigate to Settings > General > Device Management.
   • Select the developer under the “ENTERPRISE APPS” section.
   • Press “Trust [Developer]“.
   • Select “Trust“.
7. Altstore should now open on your iPhone.

same here, even installing Windows Media through shell32 dialogue variant makes no difference. Nor does sfc and DISM scanning and repair. Fresh Windows 11 Pro 24H2 installation.
