Apple account issue?

So I used altstore late last year and now reinstalled it, in this timeframe i changed my appleid email, upon installing altstore and logging in iusing the new appleid, but refreshing apps or installing new apps gives me an error the error is "Your account information was entered incorrectly. (-20101)", I go to the settings and look at my account and weirdly enough I find my age old email entered. I then signout and sign back in, but still keep getting the same error with my old email shown in the settings tab.

I have no idea if this issue is apple-related or altstore related, any assistance would be great.
