Option to hide blocked videos

this addon is super useful to someone like me who likes to watch nature/animal related videos but needs to block spider-related content due to arachnophobia. the one thing i think would be great would be the ability to hide blocked videos entirely--i tried another addon that did this and it was great, but i can't use it since it seems to interfere with ad-blocking on youtube (at least at the start of videos).

if this is possible i'd love to see the option available to hide blocked videos (and channels, though i've yet to block a channel so far).

also, i don't want to make two threads here so i'd like to add: is there anything that can be done on my end to ensure no delay when loading the overlay? since my blocking needs are phobia-related, the slight delay before the overlay loads is not fun. could it be related to my using RegEx to ensure i block spider videos but not spider-man videos?
