UI redesign
The web UI feels a bit dated, perhaps now might be a good time to look to the community for designers interested in refreshing the look.
May be best to sit until #38 is completed

What UI style are you thinking? Use Bootstrap or Foundation frameworks? I would love to help
@Hippyjake showbot uses Sass + Bourbon, although looking through the styles, we did rip some bootstrap header styles.

I am completely open to any ideas and suggestions you folks might have.
I don't have anything specific in mind and i'm not a UI designer. I'm more of a "show me what you've got in mind and i'll let you know if you're going in a good direction" kind of guy,
I find that people are often better at large-scale UI design concepts than i am and that my useful suggestions come in at the changing individual elements stage, so to anyone that's reading this, feel free to create any sort of mockups you think might look nice and i'll happily give feedback! :+1:
Ill have to make a foundation mockup. ill have to have a closer look at the "html" and see if I can make the changes my self. @rikai off hand, do the suggestions get stuck in a table or list? EDIT: Never mind its a table
@Hippyjake We're going to be doing a lot of work to improve the web side of things later today (mostly making it asynchronous in this mini-session) if you'd care to join us to talk about things.
@Hippyjake I think @eriknelson and yourself would make a good pair team on this.
He's our resident smart backend web kinda guy, so i think you guys could come up with some really awesome stuff.
I'm going to tentatively assign this issue to both of you just so i can keep easy track of things. :+1:
Edit: Apparently github only lets you assign to collaborators... Specifically ones that have push access... That's lame as hell.
No worries, @eriknelson has been chomping at the bit to rewrite the web code, so if that means more freedom in the design of the new UI, it's something i'll happily approve. :tada:
