Last item copied is not default paste item

Hi,

when i copy an item, it does not become the default item to paste. Instead, it appears in second position from the top of the clipboard. This happens in the Ubuntu-delivered v1.2.1-8build2 as well as the self-built v1.2.5. Using LinuxMint 22 based on Ubuntu 24.04. Regards, l0ddej0kk0.
