Adding a cross section should not make the station active.

When you add a cross section to the drawing the station becomes the active one. This is not very desirable, I cannot imagine a situation when it would be? In a three person team while the other two are finding and taking a leg it is often a good time to sketch. However, if you add a cross section to a station further back, which you need to do if you would like the cross section to perpendicularly bisect the legs, setting the active station means splays or even a leg then come from that station rather than the last station physically used on the ground.
