Issues with brew installed composer

Hi,

If you have installed composer trough homebrew it can't save the auth.json file and throws errors when creating a new vm.

Do you have anymore information on this? I didn't use homebrew to install composer as it was a simple enough package to install with CURL. Do you have an error logs that might shed some light?
