Overflow onto a new page with floating elements is not working

When a block overflows onto a new page, then if it has floating blocks these are lost, and any further blocks that are make as floating are missed.

Expected behavior When the page overflows the floating blocks should travel nicely with the page and be part of the content.

Happens on all renditions and page sizes.
