Rails 3 compatible?
As an avid acts_as_revisable user I'd like to know whether it's compatible with Rails 3.
I haven't tried it on Rails 3 yet but, I would be surprised if it worked un-modified. I've been waiting for the final release to update it.
Glad to hear you intend to update it. I might try it out with Rails 3 soon and will report my findings, positive or negative.
Any update here on compatibility with Rails 3 now that its out?
Hi Rich - we may try this under rails 3 shortly and report back
I used acts_as_revisable in a project few years back and now needing to move to Rails 3, I'm working on porting the plugin to Rails 3. For more updates check - https://github.com/laknath/acts_as_revisable
laknath, work on porting acts_as_revisable to Rails 3 has already been done. Check out other ppl's fork or mine. I'm currently using it for a Rails 3.2.6 app.
@cjk Great, thanks for pointing it out. Because of separate repos I completely missed it. It's working nicely in 3.2.6 apart from few issues with branch callbacks. I'll send pull requests as it goes along.
@laknath Glad it helped. And I'm sure there's still room for much improvement, so I'm looking forward to those pull-requests :)
