Love this plugin.

Would be great to also have a round wheel style timer indicator for glance and buttons.

Thank you! If I understand correctly, you are asking for the card to also take on the behaviors of the glance and button card? That sounds like a lot of work, unless you have any good ideas of implementing this, and personally I'd like to keep the codebase as simple as I can manage.

Yeah maybe what I'm describing is completely separate card. But it occurred to me that there are layouts where a circular timer makes more sense than bar.
i.e. would be great here for the heater timer Screenshot_20210705-092743~2.png

I see what you mean. This sounds like a separate card.

I love the idea but won't have the time to work on such a thing in the near future. I'm going to add a wontfix label but leave this issue open so maybe others will see the idea and be inspired.

If anyone does create such a card, please show it off it here!

I too would love a circular version and/or even a text-only version of this card.

button-card allows embedding other cards into the card, so simple versions like these allow us to embed them into another card with card-mod to make very advanced styles!
