It seems to not work in React version 16 or higher

I am very sad that this great project is no longer available. I tried to somehow modify this code to work in the latest version of React, but failed due to my lack of skills. If time permits, please try to get it working. Currently I am using React version 18. It does not work with browser console error logs such as TypeError: React.__spread is not a function.
