Ok. I tested with the virtual unicode entry system in MacOS. It seems to be very different to you using a real korean keyboard. Something like that might be fixable...

Which JavaScript engine is most appropriate?

I think I do not completely understand the question, but [inkjs](https://github.com/y-lohse/inkjs) is written in TypeScript. And I have written my [frontend](https://github.com/rhizoome/studierzimmer/blob/90a8a10341beb1440cbe8ea9a73ebfad97d6b221/src/main.ts) in TypeScript. I hope that helps.
