Preview mode and newline(s) taken ad-litteram

Hello,

I have my text formated to maximum textwidth, which is roughly 80 chars. The problem is that the preview pane, seems to use the newlines in the editor to display the text. What happens is that in the preview pane I see irregular break lines of the text, which defies the whole purpose of using it, at least for me :-).

In order to have a column filled up with text I have to remove the newlines in the editor. Using another editor (such as VIM), you discover that you will a have only single line paragraphs, which means that the editor, does line breaking artificially to fit the editor column, but it doesn't split the text itself.

It seems to me that this is somehow intended behaviour, but breaks all other editors.

http://haroopad.userecho.com/topics/193-github-flavored-markdown-newlines-addition/ says this is a feature. But I agree with @mv0. This is not the desirable behaviour for old-school text editors like vi-mode. Would it be possible to turn the "fix" into an option? Either github-newline behaviour or original markdown behaviour from https://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/syntax#p.

Actually, it is an option, cf Preferences > Markdown > Use Github Flavored Markdown line break. This happens, if you fire up google before properly checking out the UI :-/ So it seems #264 also fixes this here.
