Conflict with Windows Update while mounted

I have a fresh installation of Windows 10 1803, and I've been facing the following problems:

  • Error 0x80070057 when updating Windows

  • Error 0x80070057 when installing new software from the Windows Store

  • Error when Windows tries to install new resources

  • Error when updating Apple software through Apple Software Update

After some investigation, I found that those issues are related to EncFSMP.

They happen when my EncFSMP drive is mounted, and go away immediately if i unmount it.

Same issue with Windows Update in Windows 10 1903 x64, for both EncFSMP 0.11.1 and 0.99.1. While folder is mounted, some updates (usually the cumulative updates) fail with 0x80070057 error code. Retrying fails until folder is unmounted.
