Quantity and Orig Quantity is always the same

When importing a wanted list direcly from BrickLink or a XML list, the columns "Quantity" and "Orig. Quantity" are always the same. Also there is never a diffecence in the column "Diff Quantity", even if Have/Want (QTYFILLED/MINQTY in XML) is differing.

Is it a bug or an error in thinking on my part?

I would also like to know more on how to use this feature when comparing to want list or comparing to orders.
