Add Set Price options to parting out windows

Open ZZJHONS opened this issue 4 years ago • 6 comments

Most of the times I part out a set or a minifig I click Ctrl+G with my default settings.

Would be good if there was a checkbox in the parting out window and in the Popup from right click to auto price the parted out item.

Also, in the part out right click pop up, put the number of items that are going to be parted out.

People are getting lazier and lazier: part out, CTRL+A, CTRL+G, ENTER :-)

But yes, there could be a choice here, except then it would be require (I guess) a specific window, while here it's a standard message box...

As Sylvain said, I will not add every possible option to every dialog. In the end it would be an usability nightmare for new users. But there are so many shortcuts available, so you shouldn't loose too much time in the end :) As for the number of items to be parted out: tricky! which one: (a) the number of selected rows? (b) the quantity in the current row? (c) (a) times (b)?

I know about the shortcuts, I just thought most people price the part-outs just after doing them.

Total items being parted out.

Selection: Row 1 with 80 items Row 3 with 3 Row 6 with 1 Row 10 with 0 items

Then it should show "84 items"

That's another question: are most BS users buyers, collectors or sellers? If they're comparing a Set with their own collection they don't use often the prices. I don't know if Robert has an idea or stats about BS usage?

Hard to tell but it seems more like a sellers tool than anything else. All day long I'm pricing sets and do wish I could simply check a box to download parts, set all to include, consolidate, and price. Tuck in under "advanced". that way the default works as it does today without impacting new users Checkboxes for [ ] Price after import [ ] Consolidate extra items <-- this would automatically work without the consolidate dialog prompt. [ ] Remove counterparts

I understand not wanting to add an option for every feature, but I really like this idea too. I would want to not import the extra items rather than consolidate them, but this, auto price and counterpart removal would be excellent time savers.
