Hello again,

I would like to know if the data "Date of Issue" from datagroup 1 is available to extract and read. I don´t find the data in DG1Parser. Could you help me?

Thank you.

Hello, unfortunately there is no date of issue in DG1 nor anywhere else as far as I know. I guess your best option is to take the date of expiry and substract 5,6 or 10 years depending on the passport holder date of birth and the issuing country. Another option is to take the validFrom value of the Document Signing Certificate (in EFSOD) this could give an approximative indication on the date of issue.

@espiralpy I have to reconsider my previous response. Actually there is a field for it (On the DG12 file). Hower it is optional and not implemented in my code. passport data groups
