Email w/ inotify

Open azmtb opened this issue 7 years ago • 3 comments

Hi,

We've got maldetect setup on our server. After a manual scan, emails send fine. However, during inotify if maldet finds a file that is suspicious, it logs it to maldet -l but does not email.

Is there a way to get it to email the configured email address when this happens in maldet -l / it finds a suspicious file

 maldet(157782): {hit} malware hit {HEX}php.exe.globals.407 found for /home/-/public_html/test.php

Thanks all.

Hi, We are also looking for inotify to send email alert with suspicious file. Currently it logs it to maldet -l but doesn't send.

Thanks!

I have also noticed that while using monitor mode (inotify,) neither slack or email notifications work.
