Add option to ignore specific conflicts

Open MarkKoz opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Users should be able to ignore conflicts between two archives such that they will not appear in the list of conflicts. This could be at a per-file level and/or at an archive level. Users should be able to toggle this on and off.

A file-level ignore means that the ignore will only apply to that specific file and only between those two archive files. A archive-level ignore means the ignore will apply to all conflicts between those two archive files.

Use case

It's easier to incrementally resolve conflicts while compiling a mod list rather than resolving conflicts all in one go. However, other than the basic mod/file filters, the tool doesn't offer a good way to manage the growing list of conflicts. Conflicts that have already been looked over will still appear in the list, which is redundant. It is visual noise and makes it difficult to focus on new conflicts.
