Building and running on Gentoo Linux

The default install of php for Gentoo linux does not include support for sqlite3 or PDO. Users will need to enable the "sqlite" and "pdo" use flags in "/etc/portage/package.use". See the Gentoo documentation for portage and the package.use file. Or support can be enabled globally by adding the use flags to the USE variable in "/etc/portage/make.conf".
