@phelpsw Key mappings (on the default keyboard layout) for keyboard backlight decrease/increase are `RightAlt` + `-` and `RightAlt` + `=`. Do those work for you?

We patched the Xfce default to update the battery status icon in 10% increments, IIRC. These modifications are apparently no longer working, but should be possible to revive.
