Cannot boot gallium after install (Stuck on boot screen)

I installed chrx with no problems, and when booting up it told me to select a boot device, (device a device b verified device a verified device b and alternative USB boot) but selecting any of them gave me a '(filename) not found' error, even when looking through BIOS I tried to boot from a usb stick with a gallium iso on it, puts me on a black screen infinitely, most other methods I thought would work would just put me on the black screen or back on the boot device selection screen.
