Depending on where you have SAM installed, you may need to run it as Administrator. Reading/writing your data and settings files does not work in places like the Program Files...

Is this still a problem? I am unable to reproduce this issue and therefor cannot make a fix for it.

I don't ever experience a crash with SAM. Without additional details about what is going on I can't do much to help. You could try Majentas suggestion and delete *only*...

Where do you have SAM installed? Do you have .NET 4.8? Have you tried running as Admin? I cannot reproduce this issue people seem to be having with the settings...
