Notification for app being turned into a smart app

As a user I would want someway of knowing if a app I am using has been enhanced to be smart.

Currently if a update is made to make a app smart, that code will be ran none stop even though the user has not inputted any api keys etc. And without looking at logs or release notes will never know the app is failing and could be getting stats etc.
