Increase configurability of dark mode colours

It would be nice to have more color customization options for

• Main Background, window, toolbar background colors, tabs, button, button borders, dividers etc.

It's generally not as simple as that: some colours, such as the button colours, come from the visual style (theme), and are actually bitmaps (rather than just colour values).

I'm not also sure what you mean by main and window background colours. Panel background colours should generally be configurable.

Thank you for your response, and I apologize for the delay in responding.

Despite having no programming experience, I was able to compile it while trying thanks to your detailed instructions. It took me a while to realize that the create_grey(51) on the dark mode file was actually the same as the rgb(51,51,51) color value. So I tried modifying some background color values and was able to achieve my goal of making the background black.

The only minor issue that remains is the window border on a few toolbar elements, such as the Playback order. Even though it would be great to get rid of that sunken grey window border, I can only assume it is hard-coded into Windows.
