SVT Live stream can't play

Describe the bug

Trying to play a live stream for SVT Play just hangs for a while and then returns to the menu. Been like this since a couple of days.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to a live stream, e.g. a news program (Aktuellt, Rapport)
2. Press play

Expected Behavior

No response

The Retrospect log is not a debug one. Please enable debug logging in Retrospect, reproduce the problem and then fetch the retrospect.log.

It works now, It was Pending Moderation for some unknown reason.

Could you try again? I was able to play a live stream just now. But as the it can only be done during the actual streaming, it is hard to test.

I got the same problem again. But there's different behaviour depending on how you acces the stream.

1. Menu -> Recent -> Stream - don't work
2. Menu -> TV Shows -> Stream - don't work
3. Menu -> Live TV -> Stream - works, but then you can only watch live and not rewind to the beginning if the stream already started.

Currently playing live stream in Kodi 21.2/Retrospect 5.7.32 is not working on my Windows, LibreELEC or Android. I've installed Kodi 22 Alpha 12 portable/Retrospect 5.7.32 on Windows and now Currently playing live stream is working.

Installed LibreELEC 12.2.1 with Kodi (Omega) v21.3. Still no stream.

It most likely has to do with your WideVine version. Please update to the latest version, restart Kodi and try again.

I tried to install WideVine from within Retrospect. Is that what you meant? However it didn't help.

Yes, using the InputStream Adaptive Helper. Can you provide me with a new retrospect.log and xbmc.log. Both must be debug logging.

I am not sure how to create a xbmc.log? I am running Kodi on a Nvidia Shield Pro.

Kodi log file shows that there is an error with inputstream.adaptive error : AddOnLog: inputstream.adaptive: [AS-0] Download failed

Did a test in Windows, installed a fresh Kodi and Retrospect. In the add-on inputstream.adaptive I changed the version to 22.2.9 and copied over inputstream.adaptive.dll from Kodi 22-alpha1

Good news. Now it works to play Live streams.

The error seems to be in inputstream.adaptive 21.5.18

Is it though? I mean is it established that it was an update of the Inputstream that broke the live streams in Retrospect? I don't think I did a kodi upgrade before the live stream broke.

Could you try again? I was able to play a live stream just now. But as the it can only be done during the actual streaming, it is hard to test.

Now have the plugin "SVT Play" manage to get the "Currently playing" / "Livesändningar" working again with the "inputstream.adaptive 21.5.18".

Now during the Olympics there are many streams in the morning, afternoon and evening so it would be much easier for you to test now.

I hope you can find some time to look at this because this is the most amazing and best plugin for my Kodi.

Are you running them most recent version of Widevine and the InputStream Adaptive add-on?

Using Input Stream Adaptive 21.5.18 I cannot find any Widevine installed? Is this also an add-on?

Check your InputStream Adaptive helper add-on for version

Inside InputStream Helper version 0.8.5, It says "Widevine CDM is built-in in Android". No version can be found. I am running Kodi on Nvidia Shield Pro. Maybe Android version 11?
