Removing some unnecessary language options

Hello How are you? I want to remove some unnecessary language options for Canon camera menu? Can you provide a firmware which supports ONLY English, Japanese and Chinese? Thanks

Hi, I'm good, thank you.

ML project isn't firmware, and doesn't replace (or modify) the existing Canon firmware. So we can't provide firmware to do what you want.

Sometimes ML can change things in memory to alter the appearance of Canon menus. However - we have very few devs, so dev time is a scarce resource. And, removing features is not generally something we want to spend time on. In this case, since some people will want other languages visible, and everyone needs to be happy, we'd have to:

  • make an option menu
  • make a selectable list of languages
  • work out how to hide specific languages from Canon menus (on every cam!)

Can I ask why you want this feature?
