Poor fonts in preview using WebEngine renderer under Linux Wayland with fractional scaling

In the arrangement in subject, the quality of the preview is very poor, with many scaling artifacts, as if the preview was first rendered to a bitmap and then scaled up by my fractional scaling ratio (150%).

Hi!

I cannot reproduce this issue: I tried on GNOME (Wayland), with ReText from master branch, Qt 6.7.2 and QT_SCALE_FACTOR=1.5. Here is a screenshot (unscaled ReText also included for comparison):

Can you please provide your screenshot, and details about your desktop environment, ReText and Qt versions?

This may be related to this bug: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-113574, which is fixed in Qt 6.8.

So I am closing this issue, please re-open if it still happens with Qt 6.8.
