I'm in agreement -- the only reason I was looking at this PR was that I was seeing what issues had this mysterious "diff:medium" tag 😄

+1 for this -- this seems like a straightforward ask, very similar to adding JSON support. Would also translate to TOML support nicely.

Does the `Help Wanted` tag imply that this is waiting for a contribution, or that @Rel1cx you may eventually get to it?
