Schematic and board files available?

Open masterlama opened this issue 6 years ago • 4 comments

Hi all,

Are the schematic and board files for Eagle also available for the USB 4 Mic Array? I saw that for some Respeaker boards these files are available and I am interested in modifying the board to integrate some more features :)

Would be really great to have them for this board here as well!

Thank you very much in advance and best,

Masterlama

I would also be interested in having access to the board files for a modified design. @masterlama please let me know if you receive them.

@pkalebu Of course, if I get any updates personally, I will let you know. Glad to see that also others are interested in the PCB files!

However, my personal hope is that the community gets it and we can use it ;) I'd be very happy to push my stuff back to the community as well, on the other hand.

Best,

Masterlama

The reason for some boards not open sourced the designs is the NDA issue with the originals. We might falsely put the open hardware icon on some of those boards, we will remove it in the revision.

Understood. Will they ever be open sourced?
