Keeps re-running since Win10 Feature update (version 1809 amd64 2019-03)
I've noticed that the program keeps re-running over and over again since the latest update of Windows 10, it actually stopped my system booting properly at one point as it went wild/runaway and I had to revert the update. It's a great little program but something in the OS has changed that has broken its core functionality.
Same here. I was so happy with this little app, until last night Windows updated itself and became unusable.
I was worried I was going to have to format the disk and install the OS again, but fortunately(?) the problem was just caused by VirtualDesktopIndicator stopping/starting incessantly until it brings the whole system down.
Same here. After Windows 10 1809 update, system stops after some minute (VirtualDesktopIdicator was in automatic startup). This program is very invasive and dangerous.
I have just tried this program, it's like a fork bomb in Linux, I had to reboot my machine...yes, version 1809
Just to update that this is still an issue as of Windows 10 ver. 1903, OS Build 18362.295
Did the 1809 update as well, and cannot use this any more. What a pity - tool was quite useful...
Hi, I did a fork and updated it to work with 1809 and beyond.
Check out in the release section of my fork here: https://github.com/Flaflo/VirtualDesktopIndicator/releases
@Flaflo at least for your fork, when you click the icon twice and then try to click on a window, explorer restarts. probably because the task view was already open or something. can you make a version that doesnt do anything when you click it at least for now?
Hi everyone! I am the maintainer of this repository - reserfodium. But I lost access to this account. Thank you very much for your interest. Development continues in this repository. Check out latest release, I fixed some bugs and add new features.

will let the fork-bomb be killed...
