Is this audio that cannot be fixed by AI?

The speech in this audio, to the human ear it's audible. Not super pleasant, but good enough to be understood. There is some hum background noise and it sounds a bit like spoken into a tin can. However, resemble-enhance produces mere silence, no matter the settings.

This audio is a result of me failing to fully plug in the microphone into the recorder (my mistake). Neither Adobe podcast nor resemble-enhance nor any other model I've tried seem to be able to reduce the noise, let alone improve the audio. The result is always silence (or near silence).
