fix: Migrate to 0.16.0-rc.2

  • I followed the 0.15 -> 0.16 migration guide and mechanically applied the changes.
  • I could not figure out how to get elapsed = ?... working in a trace! macro as I could find no relevant documentation for the log crate.

No, I'm just busy with exams. Someone else can feel free to cherry-pick my changes and finish it off, or just wait for me to be free again.
