Distribute the Viewer via Steam

Steam is a great platform for distributing tech-adjacent software, and more and more people have been using it that way.

Some examples:

We should probably put the Rerun Viewer there at some point; making it easy to install -- even on steam decks!

Yes! It requires some manual work, but while I haven't tried it myself I've seen it being done

native if I remember correctly. SteamOS is based on Debian so for the most part things should just work
