I'm not too fond of the effect. If anything, animations should simply be disabled altogether as an option.

@NGPixel What's the path forward here? I don't know what the appropriate way is to make an optional CSS switch in this project.

why this PR stil staled? many people need this and others are puled.. puff eye candy unusefully are more importnat?
