Github Readme markdown?

Hi! Really love your project.

I would like to ask, is it possible to add the total views or another statistic in Repohistory on Readme.md in GitHub?

Maybe similar to badges in shields.io or graphic markdown in Star History. I think Shields.io don't do this because safety reason or potential attack reason.

I am not really familiar with Repohistory script language, so i don't sure whether it's possible or not. But if it's possible, i think this would be a good feature because to my knowledge, there isn't any tool that can display total count on readme after all, even Shields.io.
