Describe the bug and the steps to reproduce it

I’d love the ability to scan barcodes for part lookup and inventory additions on the go using the camera on my phone. It seems like some libraries exist to do this already: (such as: https://github.com/serratus/quaggaJS - though I am not sure about the compatibility of using such libraries with your projects license)

this is an interesting idea, if I can make it work in the browser I'll do what I can to get this into next week's release.
