Are TextInputLayout's app:password* attributes going to be supported in the future?

Hi, I'm using this library in my project and recently I needed to implement a hide/show password toogler, I found that the library doesn't have an option to do this, so I had to use a TextInputLayout+EditText. I was wondering if this is planned to be include in any future release?
