CAN: Infinite receive ISR when RX FIFO overrun occurs

Issue

When an overrun event occurs for the CAN receive FIFO the program will hang, repeatedly calling the provided callback function.

Workaround

No workaround is available for the releases mentioned in the applies-to-* labels.
