Website mobile issues
Reported by a user:
Mobile view on renaissance doesn’t work well for me; the page jitters
On my iOS device, I feel like the viewport is not very well aware of the content size of the dynamically loaded content from the MD files. This could be fixed, but I think we should consider converting the MD files to HTML at build time and serve static files without relying on this dynamic loading. If #46 is fixed, that doesn't make things more complicated to developers.
That would also solve the slow loading especially visible on mobile devices and would probably be more search engine friendly.
We could consider keeping this dynamic loading for the releases listing (or drop the listing and just give a link to the GitHub releases).
Are you sure that dynamic loading is the problem (i.e. that the content is not doing this anyway even if statically loaded)?
It's true that if we have automation from #46, then the development process does not suffer.
Note that it still might be the easiest thing to generate the release list dynamically (for the downloads page).
