Per invertego: there are some registers that are only implemented in the dot renderer that need to be implemented in the scanline renderer as well.

I would just add that this isn't a case of "can't be fixed" or no modifications will be made. N64 emulation is ares wants to be as accurate to hardware...

What graphics card & video driver are you using? Fedora 40 is still in beta (with 39 being the current release) so it's possible there are still issues with this...
