Can this plugin be used to replace a passphrase?

I tested this plugin locally, and it works well.

One useful thing to do with it would be to replace a passphrase locking an existing key - this way, unlocking the key could be done with a biometry (or password). One obvious use would be to replace e.g., a gopass age/rage passphrase locking an (existing) encryption key.

Would this be possible?
