Cross-Origin Request Blocked
I noticed today that videos were not loading today. After checking the debug log it appears to be the same problem as #30. Hi! I've submitted an update for the extension that'll fix it. However, Google has made their extension guidelines a lot more strict, and I think it's possible they might deny this extension, given that it's getting around a CORS header, which isn't super kosher behaviour. I'll keep this thread updated with the results of what happens.
If Google does deny it, then I'll have to think some more on how Umi could work. It's possible that it might have to become a desktop app, which would definitely reduce the usage of it. So... let's hope for the best. 🤞
I am having issues with videos loading in Firefox as well. I even tried disabling all my extensions as well as only having Umi Enabler running. It was working normally as late as 14SEP but I did not notice it not working on 21SEP.
