Yes. The composer parser can parse that in generell, but expects a slightly different syntax. Would be easy to add that to the Gemfile parser as well.

That's a good idea. I would use that feature by myself. But for this feature we need a crawler which crawls MRI itself.

@jcgjunge For the license report you could put non open source components on the component whitelist. Then they still show up in the license.pdf but are marked as whitelisted.
