Voice assistant related question and idea if possible
First of all thank you for the wonderful app, i download it and installed on my android TV and its working great.
As i read that there is a voice assistant issue, TV try to open searched video in youtube native app, i think if you could add some kind of activity/intent or may be some way to directly open TizenTube Cobalt's search and triggering the voice search button when app is in use, we could map a tv remote button to it and then it would be more easy to voice search in app.
Or i dont know if this may be a way around, add all default youtube links to TizenTube Cobalt to open and then may be we could open voice assistant searched video directly into TizenTube Cobalt setting TizenTube Cobalt default app for the links.

what kind of workaround this app provides? i downloaded it and try to install it on my tv, app is not installing, i think its not android tv compatible, although i try to install it on my phone it got installed but app language is not english so i am not able to understand it. They are in Vietnamese but you can use Google Translate. It's easy to setup.

The problem with this workaround is that it uses ADB (Android Debugging Bridge) to run a command in the background that checks for voice assistants recognized text. Then it gets the text and launches TizenTube Cobalt using it (with the full YT TV URL with the search parameter).
I'd rather implement in a different way, as this way is not user friendly and whatever you say to the voice assistant will be sent to TizenTube.

Google's Voice Assistant calls YouTube on Android TV by default, there must be a "bridge" app that redirects the calls to TizenTube. So it will not be in TizenTube Cobalt, but it'll be an another app.
okay is it possible? can you provide this app? and one more thing sometimes we can not uninstall native youtube app, may be it could be disabled, i haven't tried that, will this work even if native youtube app is installed on tv? Thank you for prompt reply 👍

It wouldn't work if you cannot uninstall the OG YT on ATV app. This is a technical limitation.

@wenger69 Hello, i tried the app you provided and thank you for that, it works but with some fundamental issues
- if we exit the app, on opening again we have to do selection of youtube app once again, app do not remember the setting previously entered.
- when app is running it sends all queries to tizen tube regardless if its like "open some app" so the core functionality of assistant is completely broken
now if you are the author of the app i would like to suggest few changes

app should automatically detect which app is running foreground at the time of command and send all spoken command to its search, so we dont need to select default youtube app or any other and that would be a great functionality because all of OTT apps has search and google assistant now days do not try to search all of the apps.

app should detect the home screen if user on home screen do not engage.

And @reisxd thank you for an ad free Youtube app its working great, if you could add a voice search option to it that would be great, if its too much work then kindly provide a search button on player UI to open search directly like smart tube has, that would do the trick for now if direct voice search is not possible at this time.
